Existing electrical switchgear at the RVWF pump station in Rockland County, NY is being evaluated. BS&J is preparing conceptual one-line diagrams, estimated costs, and recommendations to assist in the evaluation of an electrical upgrade with 4160V and 480V equipment.
BS&J is preparing the design of a temporary pumping operation and control strategy to allow this elevated storage tank serving a small pressure district to be offline for painting. Upgrading existing variable frequency drives, temporary emergency supply, fire flow, and surge relief are being considered.
