In January 2012, permit documents were submitted for work at the Woodcliff Lake Dam. Work includes the addition of an auxiliary spillway and improvements to the low level outlet.
The Rockland County Highway Department will reconstruct New Hempstead Road (County Route 80) in the Towns of Clarkstown and Ramapo, NY west of New City, NY.
