The construction of improvements at Woodcliff Lake Reservoir began in March 2014 by J. Fletcher Creamer & Son, Inc. and will be completed at the end of 2015. The project is required for the continued safe operation of the reservoir and includes work areas in Woodcliff Lake and Hillsdale, New Jersey: raising two reservoir embankment areas, rehabilitating the dam’s low level outlet, which will include piping and valve improvements and a new upstream shutoff valve, and a new auxiliary spillway. A new fishing pier will be constructed.
