In 2014, Buck, Seifert & Jost, Inc. completed the design and permit applications for the construction of ultraviolet light, bag and filter treatment for Ramapo Valley Well No. 84, a 1,400 gpm well that is considered to be Groundwater Under the Direct Influence of Surface Water. The construction contract was awarded to CalMart Enterprises Inc. In April 2015, the required approvals are anticipated including the Village of Hillburn, New York State and Rockland Departments of Health, Rockland County Drainage Agency, and the Army Corps of Engineers. With submittals and shop drawings in hand, construction on-site will begin in April. Project completion is scheduled for July 2015.
