BS&J is designing improvements to the existing 25 million gallon per day (mgd) New Durham Pumping Station in North Bergen, NJ including replacement of electrical switchgear, pumping units, standby generator, suction and discharge headers, metering equipment, and new additional improvements to the surge relief system. The facility must remain operational while the improvements are undertaken presenting unique construction phasing challenges.
