Buck, Seifert & Jost, Inc. (BS&J) was retained by Veolia Water New Jersey, Inc. (VWNJ) to provide Engineering and Consulting Services to complete the Flushing Sequences for multiple water mains throughout Bergen County, New Jersey. The project would be completed in phases; each containing several towns located within proximity to each other.

BS&J assisted in the completion of Phase 1 of the Flushing Sequence in 2021. Phase 2 was completed in December 2022, and the current Phase 3 is expected to be finished by the end of 2024. Upon the completion of all three phases, a total of 34 municipalities will have undergone these Flushing Sequences.
