The Rockland County Highway Department will reconstruct New Hempstead Road (County Route 80) in the Towns of Clarkstown and Ramapo, NY west of New City, NY.  The reconstruction includes improvements to the vertical profile and horizontal alignment as well as full depth pavement replacement.  This work affects existing utilities in the road.  BS&J prepared design documents including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for construction of replacement of the 12 inch water main, special crossings at culverts and bridges, temporary and permanent water services.  The permit documents for this work were prepared by BS&J and approved by the Rockland County Department of Health.
