BS&J conducted the regular dam inspections at four dams together with SWNY. Reports were written for each dam listing existing conditions, observations, and recommendations.
Construction was completed on an updated water treatment process for two wells including a new building, treatment vessels, and 16-inch diameter ductile iron pipe for chlorine contact time. BS&J completed the design and provided engineering services during construction, testing, start-up, and completion certification to the local Department of Health.

The temporary pumping system to take Spring Valley Standpipe offline for painting was successfully designed, constructed, and implemented. The large pressure district, multiple supply inputs, and complicated hydraulics resulted in distribution system upgrades at multiple locations to reinforce emergency supply capabilities during the temporary pumping operation. Upgrades at key facilities have improved operational reliability.
