The temporary pumping system to take Spring Valley Standpipe offline for painting was successfully designed, constructed, and implemented. The large pressure district, multiple supply inputs, and complicated hydraulics resulted in distribution system upgrades at multiple locations to reinforce emergency supply capabilities during the temporary pumping operation. Upgrades at key facilities have improved operational reliability.
